About SalatWise
A simple, reliable site to pray on time anywhere in the world: prayer times, Quran, supplications and Qibla, no sign-up.
Our approach
SalatWise is independent, with no affiliation to any mosque, federation or movement. We always state where information comes from and would rather show nothing than show approximate data. The site was born in Toulouse, France, whose mosque directory remains available.
Prayer times
Calculated with the Adhan JS library for over 30,000 cities (GeoNames database), in each city's time zone, with a method suited to the country. These are astronomical, unofficial times.
The Quran
Arabic text from the Tanzil project, reproduced without modification; English translation by the Rowwad Translation Center, French translation by Rachid Maach and Arabic tafsir al-Muyassar, published by QuranEnc.com; recitations by Islamic Network.
Supplications
Each supplication cites its hadith collection, and its Arabic text has been automatically compared with the collection's text (hadith-api database). Quoted verses are loaded from the Quran source.
Funding
The site may be funded by discreet ads, never placed within verses or supplications, and always respecting your consent.
