Privacy policy

In short

• No account, no sign-up, no data collection form.
• Your preferences, city and favourites stay in your browser.
• Your location, if you allow it, is only used to find the nearest city or the Qibla.

Data controller

The site's publisher (Mallek, individual), reachable at salattoulouse@gmail.com.

Data stored on your device

Your browser's local storage keeps your chosen city, calculation settings, theme, language (technical cookie), reading preferences, bookmarks and favourites. This data never leaves your device.

Location

Only if you click "Use my location" are your (rounded) coordinates sent to the site to find the nearest city, without being stored. Otherwise, a city is estimated from your IP address by the hosting provider, without storage; it is only remembered if you confirm it.

Third-party services

• Hosting: Vercel Inc. processes technical logs (IP address, requested pages).
• Audio recitations: loaded from cdn.islamic.network, which receives your IP address.
• Mosque map: loaded from OpenStreetMap only on request.
• Advertising: no ads are currently shown.

Your rights

Rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction (GDPR): most are exercised by clearing your browser data. Questions: salattoulouse@gmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
