Why is my Fajr different from another app?

Fajr depends on the angle used for dawn: 18° gives a much earlier Fajr than 12° or 15°. Choose your mosque's method in the settings.

Is daylight saving time taken into account?

Yes. Times are calculated in universal time, then displayed in the city's time zone, which automatically includes daylight saving time.

Is sunrise a prayer?

No. Sunrise marks the end of Fajr time. It is shown for reference only.
